The 2024 Limited Edition
To mark its 130th anniversary, Savonnerie du Midi is launching a limited edition of its iconic Marseille soap 'La Corvette'. The talented Marseilles artist Stéphane Paugam, well known under the label Gravé du Sud that La Corvette has entrusted the visuals for the brand's 130th anniversary to Stéphane Paugam, a talented artist from Marseilles, well known for his Gravé du Sud label. It features Marseilles celebrating this happy anniversary against a background of blue, the preferred color of the artist, Marseilles and La Corvette.
All our know-how is to be found in this authentic Marseille soap, presented in its most traditional form possible, that of a 300-gram cube. In addition to the health benefits that have put it in the spotlight, this soap is biodegradable, non-polluting and very gentle on the environment. Based on olive oils, with no preservatives, colorants or fragrances, it is hypoallergenic and therefore suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive, for use in the kitchen or bathroom. This new limited edition will of course be presented at the Soap Museum, which can be which can be visited at the Savonnerie site in Marseille..
The color of the soap can vary from soft green to dark green, depending on the production batch, due to the vegetable oils used from one cauldron to another. This gives our soaps the authenticity of a product made from materials of natural origin, and in no way alters the quality of the finished product.

Our soaps are COSMOS NATURAL certified by Ecocert Greenlife according to the COSMOS standard.

La Corvette Marseille soaps respect the artisanal manufacturing charter set by the Union des Professionnels du Savon de Marseille, of which Savonnerie du Midi is a founding member.
The registered trademark guarantees :
- A traditional manufacturing process of cooking in a cauldron of time
- A composition of traditional Marseille soap from raw materials and oils exclusively vegetable, without additive, conservative or perfume,
- A place of manufacture in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône, historical cradle of Marseille soap.
