The many advantages of black soap detergent

Do It Yourself (DIY) is becoming increasingly popular in France, and more and more of you are making your own everyday household products. Making your own laundry detergent has many advantages.
Homemade laundry detergent with black soap is ecological and healthy. You know all the ingredients that go into your recipe, and you ban ingredients that could have an impact on your health. You avoid perfumes, dyes and all allergenic or irritating ingredients. In addition, a washing cycle produces wastewater. A homemade detergent, made from natural ingredients, has a reduced impact on the environment.
You also save a lot of money. The natural ingredients in your homemade detergent are affordable, and the cost of producing a litre of DIY black soap detergent is less than the price of a litre of commercially purchased detergent.
Producing your own detergent is also part of a zero waste approach. You can store your homemade detergent in a reusable bottle, thus considerably reducing your consumption of packaging.
The reduction in waste is even greater if your new detergent replaces a liquid detergent bought in the shops.
