A portrait dedicated to our history
The Corvette had the honor of being featured in the winter issue of the magazine Teritoria, the community for restaurateurs, hoteliers, and artisans, chaired by Alain Ducasse. This recognition underscores our commitment to authentic, local, and sustainable craftsmanship.
In the History & Culture section, an article titled “La Corvette: Soap Made in Marseille” was published on page 28. It offers readers a glimpse into the spirit of our historic factory, which has been located in the Aygalades neighborhood (Marseille’s 15th arrondissement) for over 130 years.
A tribute to our roots and our artisans
In this article, the magazine highlights:
- the history of our authentic soap factory, one of the last to carry on the traditional Marseille method;
- the preservation of traditional skills passed down from generation to generation;
- our commitment to local, responsible production that honors the tradition of authentic Marseille soap.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Laurence Gounel, the author of this article, for her sincere and inspiring portrayal. She has brilliantly captured the essence of La Corvette: a passionate team, a cherished legacy, and a commitment to promoting authentic Marseille soap.
Where can I find the article?
The winter issue of Teritoria is available in print through the magazine’s distribution network. It’s a wonderful opportunity to (re)discover our history and celebrate the work of all those who strive every day to preserve the excellence of French craftsmanship.
