How to make homemade laundry detergent from Marseille soap?

There are many recipes for homemade laundry detergents based on Marseille soap. This allows each person to adapt the recipe to his or her own preferences.

Here's a simple, accessible recipe that you can easily adapt to suit your every whim.Recipe for Marseille soap detergent
To make 2L of Marseille soap detergent, you will need :

  • 60 g Marseille soap flakes (olive or extra pure)
  • 2 l water
  • 1 can of 2 liters
  • 1 kettle or 1 saucepan
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 funnel (optional)

Recipe:

  1. Heat 1 liter of water and pour into a suitable container.
  2. Add the quantity of shavings and mix vigorously.
  3. Leave to stand for 24 hours. The extra pure solidifies.
  4. Add 1 liter of lukewarm water and mix the resulting detergent.
  5. Pour the contents into a 2-litre container and the detergent is ready to use.
  6. Pour 100 ml of the liquid obtained directly into your machine.
